There are two forms of advertising that propaganda in San Diego CW6, they either do like a discount or lottery to giving out the free stuff. The advertisers that post advertising on San Diego CW6 are diversities; they include traveling, family and luxury packages. And San Diego CW6 always keeps in touch its viewer needs, for example, people would email with suggestions or things they didn’t like certain things were like on the show and didn’t like how things were said. Jane, the assignment desk editor of San Diego CW6 mentions people’s feedback is so important to them and very valuable, it is because the feedbacks tell them “What can we do more of, what can we do less of”. While reaching the people’s demand, it helps to enhance their rating in order to increase the revenue.

Jane, the assignment desk editor of San Diego CW6 mentions that CW6 measures its success through their rating and revenues in her interview. The rating meters throughout San Diego that measure who is watching the CW6 at what time. Advertisers are looking at the rating end of April to end of May to buy airtime for the business. Higher ratings translate to advertisers willing to pay higher rates, which bring in revenue for the station. Jane mentions, “ People [the advertisers] buy time during commercial breaks, airtime.” Therefore, rating and advertising are so important to the increase the profit of the station.
